Christos Hadjichristou

Born 1985, Limassol, CY

Christos Hadjichristou’s work focuses on capturing authentic human expressions and stories, with an emphasis on identity, culture, and social context.

Christos Hadjichristou is a portrait photographer based in Cyprus. He studied Photography at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (now University of West Attica), within the School of Audiovisual Arts.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Christos has developed a practice rooted in documentary-style portraiture, focusing on human identity, cultural narratives, and social stereotypes. His work often reveals the complexity of individual stories while opening broader conversations on the human condition.

Blending local and multicultural perspectives, his portraits reflect the diversity of the communities around him and highlight shared values across different cultural contexts. Alongside his artistic projects, Christos has contributed to major commercial campaigns, with his photography featured on billboards, television, and across a wide range of media platforms both in Cyprus and abroad.

He runs a portrait studio in the heart of Limassol and has presented his work in numerous group exhibitions locally and internationally. He is currently preparing for his first solo exhibition, which is scheduled to debut in 2026.
