A celebration of resilience, heritage, and transformation through contemporary female textile art.

The Edit Gallery is pleased to presentSurvival of the Fittest, a group exhibition of nine women artists who reclaim textile as a medium of resistance, remembrance, and renewal. Curated by Mariandrie, the show explores ideas of heritage, identity, and transformation, reshaping the Darwinian phrase “survival of the fittest” to highlight resilience, adaptation, and belonging. Through threads, fabric, and layered narratives, these works engage with the present and honour legacy, reminding us that soft things don’t break, they adapt, reform, and endure.
